Siobhán with some of her family!

"Siobhán

Siobhán's registered name was chosen based on the breeder/co-owner's theme for her litter. It was royal puns/wordplay and her name is a play on words. Siobhán's call name was chosen because it means God is gracious in Gaelic to honor my late brother who had an affinity for all things Irish, as do I, due to our heritage and love of the country. This name is traditionally pronounced Show-awn, but we pronounce it Shav-an.

Siobhán is a character and a joy to live with. She is quite the thief and enjoys participating in mischief.

“Christ with me, Christ before me,
Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.”

St. Patrick

From Breeder Judge Robert Place - 2024 SCOA National Specialty Award of Merit Critique

"A bitch that was longer and taller in body than the BOB winner, but no less sound. She possessed a properly angled shoulder, strong and moderately sloped pasterns and well constructed "running" feet. The front assembly was full and properly set under. Her topline ran from the strong neck, smoothly over the withers and muscled loin, and down the croup. The tailset was per the standard and carried naturally. The moderately angled rear was well muscled and strong. The head backskull was moderately wide, the earset relatively high, the underjaw was adequate, pigment was dark and rich, all adding to the pleasing expression. Movement was light and true on the down-and-back and, while not as open as the BOB winner, nonetheless balanced on the side gait."
