I have been involved in dogs for most of my life starting as a young girl doing rescue with my mom. We had various breeds from Keeshonden to Brittany Spanials. I fell in love with German Shepherds and wanted to breed and show them. I spent many years showing them at specialties and enjoy it still to this day. When given the opportunty, I am most happy showing a shepherd at a specialty flying around the ring with a beautiful dog. However, breeding GSD's has not been possible for me due to various reasons. Over the years I spent many weekends at dog shows as a junior handler showing my Yorkshire Terrier in conformation and agility. As I spent time at the shows I saw many different breeds and I spotted a gorgeous dog with the most captivating eyes. The Saluki would eventually become my next breed. So, fast foward 10 years, after spending many hours learning about Salukis, visiting breeders, getting to know Saluki owners and the breed I finally got my first Saluki while living in Spain. She came from Croatia and would be the start of a lifelong love for Salukis. Stellaluna was the best first Saluki I could have asked for and is still "my best girl".
